The commercial law firm Orth Kluth provided comprehensive advice to Trifelx GmbH Co KG in connection with an investment in the robotics start-up ConBotics from Berlin.

The start-up ConBotics has developed the PainterRobot to make construction processes more efficient using robot-assisted systems. The MalerRoboter automates the surface coating of interior spaces by recognizing them and orienting itself independently while the self-developed robotic arm carries out the surface coating.

Trifelx GmbH Co KG, the leading European specialist for PMMA liquid plastics, specializes in waterproofing and marking and is part of the Follmann Group, an internationally active family business in the chemical industry with particular expertise in the development, manufacture and sale of specialty chemicals for the processing industry and for the production of waterproofing systems and marking materials for the construction sector.

Triflex has already developed the “Triflex SAM” Spray Application Machine to carry out waterproofing and coating work by machine. In partnership with ConBotics, the aim is now to jointly enable the sealing and coating of surfaces with the aid of robotized tools.
