Kai-Michael König advises in the areas of M&A and corporate law with a focus on directors “and officers” liability. His practice also includes distribution law. He regularly advises on transactions of various sizes and structures. Before joining orka as a partner in 2007, he worked at Hengeler Mueller from 2001 to 2007 in the areas of corporate law, capital markets law and M&A, where he gained extensive transaction experience. In 2003/2004 he completed a secondment at Slaughter and May in London.
After completing his education as a banker, Kai-Michael König studied law in Saarbrücken and Rennes and worked as a research assistant at the European Institute of Saarland University. In 2002, he received his doctorate in law from the University of the Saarland.
Kai-Michael König is a member of the Supervisory Board of Norgren GmbH and of the NRW Regional Committee of the British Chamber of Commerce in Germany e.V.
