Svetlana Seppelt advises national and international companies, their shareholders, and governing bodies on various issues related to insolvency, corporate, and restructuring law in the context of corporate crises—both with regard to avoiding insolvency and in connection with formal insolvency proceedings. In addition, she represents creditors in enforcing their interests and claims in (preliminary) insolvency proceedings, as well as investors in contract negotiations with companies in crisis. In addition to providing out-of-court advice, she handles court representation and litigation in the context of corporate and insolvency law, particularly in defending against insolvency-related avoidance and liability claims.

Svetlana Seppelt has been working as a lawyer at orka since 2026. Prior to that, she worked as a lawyer at another German commercial law firm in Berlin.

Svetlana Seppelt studied at the University of Potsdam and completed her legal clerkship in Berlin. She received her Ph.D. from the University of Potsdam in 2018. She has been a certified specialist in commercial and corporate law since 2025.

Svetlana Seppelt is a member of the ARGE Insolvency Law and Restructuring (AGIS) within the German Bar Association.
