René Runte advises on construction and real estate law. He focuses on project development, project-related advice, construction contract law, architectural and engineering law and construction litigation. He has been with orka since 2009. From 2000 to 2004 he was a lawyer at PwC Veltins (later Heussen) and joined Mütze Korsch as a spin-off.

René Runte studied law at the University of Osnabrück. This was followed by a year as a visiting researcher at New York University, School of Law, N.Y.. He received his doctorate from Goethe University Frankfurt am Main in 2003.
