Marc Menrath advises clients on all aspects of private construction law and plant construction law. In addition to large-scale construction projects, he focuses on advising clients on national and international plant construction contracts (EPC, EPCMv, FIDIC) as well as on architecture and engineering law, including engineer liability. He assists construction and plant engineering companies, large engineering firms, and clients from all industries with complex construction projects, from contract drafting to the judicial and extrajudicial enforcement of claims.

He has been a licensed lawyer at orka since 2014 and a salary partner since 2024. Since 2022, he has held the title of certified specialist in construction and architectural law.

Marc Menrath studied law at Heinrich Heine University in Düsseldorf, including a two-semester supplementary program in Anglo-American law. From 2010 to 2013, he worked as a research assistant at the Center for Information Law at the University of Düsseldorf, where he earned his doctorate in 2013. He completed his legal clerkship in the district of the Higher Regional Court of Düsseldorf and in Perth, Australia.
