Rafael Wolter advises in the areas of IP, IT, competition and data protection law. His interests also include media and music law, artificial intelligence and legal advice in the German-French context.
He joined orka as a lawyer in 2024.
Rafael Wolter studied law at Saarland University. In addition, he completed a degree in French law with a focus on corporate law at the Centre Juridique Franco-Allemand and the Université de Lorraine with a Licence en Droit (LL.B.). He also worked as a research assistant at the Chair of French Public Law at Saarland University and in a large law firm in Luxembourg. Moreover, he was a lecturer at the Centre Juridique Franco-Allemand.
Rafael Wolter completed his legal clerkship in the district of the Higher Regional Court of Düsseldorf with secondments at the Ministry of Culture and Science of North Rhine-Westphalia, in the IP, Media and Technology team of a large law firm and at the European Commission in the Directorate-General for Communications Networks, Content and Technology (DG CNECT) in the field of Artificial Intelligence Policy.
