About us
The commercial law firm orka is an independent full-service law firm with offices in Düsseldorf and Berlin. For more than 25 years (formerly: Orth Kluth Rechtsanwälte), companies from Germany and abroad have mandated us as strategic legal advisors as well as creative contract drafters and transaction lawyers, conflict resolvers and arbitrators or legal housekeepers.
Our clients are start-ups, medium-sized companies and corporations, including numerous Dax 40, MDax, TecDax and Euro Stoxx 50 companies. We also advise public companies and ministries at federal and state level. Internationally, we are closely networked with renowned independent law firms abroad, with whom we cooperate on an ongoing basis on cross-border mandates.
We see ourselves as a team of experts with an eye for the big picture, because it is our top priority that the results of our advice make business sense. We know the markets and the daily challenges in the legal department. Our response to time pressure is efficiency and organizational strength. In addition, we are regularly recommended by WirtschafsWoche, the business magazine brandeins and Handelsblatt (Best Lawyers in Germany). We always keep an eye on the environment and sustainability and are working with our internal “orka ThinkGreen” team to get a little closer to climate neutrality every day. We use green electricity, travel by train, offer our team job bikes and job tickets for public transport, reduce paper with digital solutions and avoid CO2 emissions from unnecessary water deliveries with our water dispensers.
