The commercial law firm Orth Kluth provided legal advice to Gelita AG under the internal management of Dr. Lars Kogel (Global Vice President Legal, Risk Compliance) on the implementation of a comprehensive IT system. The technical solution should/will be used company-wide at 22 locations on five continents.

The global introduction of an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system. These technical solutions for corporate resource planning are of fundamental importance for companies that can use the IT system to automate and manage business processes in the areas of finance, manufacturing, sales, supply chain, human resources and operations.

The IT and data protection team led by partner Dr. Philipp Mels advised on the IT contract law concept in connection with the introduction of the ERP system and conducted the legal negotiations with the contractual partner for Gelita. The introduction of the complex ERP system will enable Gelita to manage and control various processes at the company’s different locations in a standardized manner.
