Marieke Schwarz advises on public commercial administrative law (including procedural and litigation law). Her practice focuses on public construction and planning law, state aid and subsidy law as well as environmental law (including waste law and contaminated sites). She also advises on telecommunications law as well as substance and product law. Marieke Schwarz has particular industry experience in the areas of mobility (public and private transport), broadband expansion and digitalization.

Marieke Schwarz joined orka as a lawyer in 2014 and was appointed Salary Partner in 2020.

She studied law at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn. She completed her legal clerkship in the district of the Higher Regional Court of Cologne with stations at the Legal Department of the City of Aachen and the Administrative Court of Aachen, among others. She then worked as a research assistant at the commercial law firm Gleiss Lutz. As a specialist lawyer for administrative law, Marieke Schwarz has particular expertise in administrative law issues.
