The commercial law firm orka has appointed lawyer Dr. Esther Herrnstadt as an equity partner. With effect from January 1, 2025, the former salary partner from the employment law practice group will join the circle of partners, which now consists of 21 partners.

Lawyer Dr. Esther Herrnstadt (43) has been a Salary Partner at orka since 2020. Before, she worked as a lawyer at Noerr in Düsseldorf and Hopfgarten Rechtsanwälte in Wuppertal and Düsseldorf.

She advises on collective and individual employment law as well as employment contract law. A particular focus of her advice is on company pension schemes, which was also the subject of her dissertation. In addition, she provides employment law advice in connection with restructurings and transactions and regularly advises on works constitution and collective bargaining law. Her clients include national and international companies from the health care sector, the metal industry and the insurance sector, among others.

Dr. Esther Herrnstadt studied law at the Albert-Ludwigs-University of Freiburg with additional training in “European, international and foreign law” and at the Universitat de València, Spain.
