Ulla Kelp specialises in trademark, design and copyright law, competition law, patent and utility model law, the law of R&D/cooperation and license agreements, employee invention law as well as media, IT and data protection law.

She joined orka as a lawyer in 2001. She previously worked as a lawyer for Hengeler Mueller in Düsseldorf. In 2014 she became Salary Partner at orka and 2019 Partner.

Ulla Kelp studied law as well as the French and Italian in Marburg, Paris, Rome and Cologne. She received her doctorate from the Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf in 2003 and completed her LL.M. in intellectual property law at the Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf in 2005. She specializes in intellectual property law and information technology law.
