Moritz Dästner advises clients on all aspects of antitrust law. He focuses on antitrust and merger control proceedings as well as internal investigations and general advice on antitrust compliance. In addition, Moritz Dästner advises on regulated transportation markets with a focus on railroads and public transport. Moritz Dästner has been a Salary Partner at orka since 2021. Previously, he worked as a lawyer at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in Düsseldorf for seven years.

He studied law at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn and the University of Sussex (Brighton, UK). Moritz Dästner completed his legal clerkship at the Higher Regional Court of Cologne with stages in Zagreb, Croatia, and Singapore. He worked as a research assistant at the Chair of Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure Law and International and European Criminal Law in Bonn and received his doctorate from the University of Bonn in 2015.
