Kerstin Bogusch studied law at the University of Cologne and completed her legal clerkship in the district of the Higher Regional Court of Cologne, including a stint at the European representation of the Federal Chamber of Lawyers in Brussels. She then worked as a research assistant at the Institute for Private International Law and Comparative Law at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn. She received her doctorate in law from the University of Bonn in 2016.
