Guido Matthey advises in all areas of employment law and service contract law. The main focus of his practice are on advising companies in complex restructurings, personnel adjustments and matters relating to works constitution law. Other important areas of expertise include issues relating to company pension schemes and the advice and representation of companies in court as well as advising executive bodies and executives in matters relating to service contracts.

Guido Matthey joined orka in 1999 and established the practice group for labour law. He studied law in Bielefeld and Bonn and received his Doctorate in Law from the University of Bonn in 1999. He qualified as Certified Specialist in Labour Law (Fachanwalt für Arbeitsrecht) in 2001.

Guido Matthey is also a lecturer in the field of labour law at Deutsche Gesellschaft für Personalführung e.V. (German Association for Personnel Management).
