Kristoff Ritlewski works in trademark and copyright law as well as competition law. He is not admitted to the bar but has been Of Counsel at orka since 2017. In this role, he advises orka internally and not directly to clients.

From 2010 to 2014, Kristoff Ritlewski was a lawyer at Harte-Bavendamm Rechtsanwälte in Hamburg. From 2014 to 2017, he was a salary partner at Hertin & Partner in Berlin, specializing in trademark, competition and copyright law.

Kristoff Ritlewski has been Counsel at the Center for Transnational IP, Media and Technology Law and Policy at Bucerius Law School in Hamburg since 2008. He has held a professorship at the Berlin School of Economics and Technology since 2019. Prior to that, he was a professor of private commercial law at Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences.

Before Kristoff Ritlewski studied law at the University of Konstanz, Bucerius Law School Hamburg and Chicago-Kent College of Law (LL.M. 2005), he attended the University of Music in Lübeck from 1995 to 1997. He wrote his dissertation in the European Research Training Group at the Universities of Mainz, Heidelberg and Krakow (Poland).
