Update: Whistleblower Protection Act passed

On 11 May 2023, the Bundestag passed the law for better protection of whistleblowers after an earlier draft failed in the Bundesrat in February and the Mediation Committee subsequently agreed on a compromise. The law finally implements the EU Whistleblower Directive from 2019.
