Catharina Schmidt advises in the areas of director and officer liability, corporate law, and M&A. She has been practicing as an attorney at orka since 2025.
Catharina Schmidt studied law at the University of Münster (Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster) and at Université Paris V. During her studies, she gained practical experience as a research assistant at several international law firms, focusing on transactions and corporate law.
She completed her legal traineeship (Referendariat) in the district of the Berlin Court of Appeal (Kammergericht), with placements including the German Federal Chancellery. Prior to joining orka, Catharina Schmidt worked for three years as an attorney in Berlin, advising primarily in the fields of venture capital and private equity. She has extensive experience supporting start-ups, investors, and growth companies through all stages of their corporate development.
