Adaptation of deletion concepts following the adoption of the Whistleblower Protection Act

As outlined in our newsletter of 11 May 2023, the German Bundestag has passed the Whistleblower Protection Act. The Federal Council has also given its approval. The law has since been promulgated in the Federal Law Gazette (see Federal Law Gazette 2023 I No. 140 of 2 June 2023).
Companies must therefore take the appropriate precautions to implement whistleblower protection.
