The commercial law firm orka has hired Siegfried Etzkorn as new counsel for its construction and real estate law practice group. He moved to the Berlin office on November 1, 2025 and thus strengthens the real estate practice. orka is also expanding its presence in the capital and renting additional space at its location at Heidestrasse 9.

Attorney Siegfried Etzkorn (50) advises national and international clients on real estate law, in particular on commercial tenancy law as well as real estate transactions, project developments and real estate financing. He advises primarily in the areas of corporate real estate and real estate finance and also assists his clients in court proceedings throughout Germany and internationally. In the course of his career, he has worked for Norton Rose (now: Norton Rose Fulbright), Allen & Overy, Squire Patton Boggs, CMS and Knauthe. Siegfried Etzkorn studied law in Frankfurt am Main and was admitted to the bar in 2003.

In addition to the appointment of Siegfried Etzkorn it is orka has succeeded in expanding its Berlin office by half of its previous space not far from the main train station. The firm’s office has grown steadily in recent years and now has 22 lawyers as well as a notary, Dr. Anselm Grün – A total of three equity partners are based in Berlin.s usual. In particular due to the change of partner Margarete von Oppen and its energy law team as well as the addition of Salary-partner Vladislava Zdesenko in real estate law and salary-partner Dr. Johannes Bethge in antitrust and regulatory law, new rental space was sought.
